Female Anorgasmia – In the Vision of Ancient Tantric Wisdom (II)

18 September, 2025

Solutions and ways of healing through Tantra Yoga

In the first part of the article we explored what female anorgasmia means, why it occurs and how it can be seen from a tantric perspective as a deep energy imbalance. We have seen how life experiences, beliefs, traumas or unfulfilled relationships can leave traces that close the heart and block pleasure.

The beautiful part is that, in Tantra Yoga, no state is definitive. Where classical medicine sees an unanswered dysfunction, the tantric tradition offers delicate and effective solutions. Hatha Yoga postures, breathing techniques and tantric massage – especially Yoni massage – become tools through which the woman can regain her vitality, joy and ability to experience orgasm.

  1. Body Postures in Hatha Yoga

Certain postures in Hatha Yoga, when practiced consistently, have profound effects on the heart center (Anahata). They support purification on a subtle level, bring more inner balance and help us open our being to a state of tranquility and vitality.

Among the postures that support opening the heart is the Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), an asana known for its effect of energizing the chest area and awakening the heart. Practiced persistently, this posture helps not only to the flexibility of the body, but also to harmonize emotions and brings a state of calm and inner well-being.

To truly receive the benefits of a pose, mechanical execution is not enough – it is essential to pay attention to what you feel. In yoga, every inhale and every second spent in the asana becomes an invitation to let the energy flow freely through the body and feel the heart opening step by step.

  1. Meditation with music

Music has the power to touch the heart in a way that words fail. When you choose songs with a high vibration, they become a real balm for the soul and a support in subtle healing. For opening and balancing the heart chakra (Anahata), music that resonates with this center is recommended – ambient music with frequencies of 528 Hz (considered the “heart frequency” or love frequency).

How you can practice:
Choose a quiet space where you can feel safe and comfortable. Use an external speaker (not headphones) to allow sound to flow freely around the room. Sit in a comfortable position on a chair or cushion with your back straight so you can stay awake and present.

Turn on the music, a little louder than you’d usually listen to, and close your eyes. Allow sounds to engulf you completely, without analyzing or judging. Imagine that your body absorbs the vibration of the music like a sponge full of light. There’s no need to dance or move – just let yourself be supported by the sound flow.

Even 20–30 minutes of daily practice can bring a state of openness, tranquility, and harmony, helping you feel your heart more alive and present.

  1. Guided meditation

A guided meditation is a simple and safe way to quiet your mind and open your heart. By listening to the voice of an experienced guide, you manage to move beyond the agitation of thoughts and reach a deeper inner space, where emotions settle and energy begins to flow freely.

In the case of activating the heart chakra (Anahata), guided meditations are very helpful, because they lead you step by step to states of compassion, gentleness and openness. Practiced constantly, they can transform the way you relate to yourself and others, bringing more confidence, peace and love into your life.

How to practice:
Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Sit comfortably in a sitting position, on a chair or cushion – it’s important to stay awake and present. Start the recording with the guided meditation, close your eyes and carefully follow the guide’s voice.

You can practice daily or alternate with other methods (for example, one day meditation with music, another day guided meditation). The key is consistency: the more often you return to this practice, the easier your heart will learn to open.

  1. The power to give from the heart

An important step on the road to healing is to learn to give from the heart, with sincerity and without expectations. It may seem paradoxical – especially for a woman who has long faced frustration or intimate disappointments – but it is precisely this openness to giving that creates a new inner space, in which pleasure begins to activate.

In intimacy, the focus should not fall on the obsession of reaching orgasm, but on the presence and shared love. When you choose to offer tenderness, attention, and affection from an authentic place, you notice how your own senses gradually awaken. The sensations become more vivid, the heart relaxes and, paradoxically, you receive much more than you give.

Practical exercise: start with small gestures, not just in intimacy. It can be a sincere smile, a longer hug, a warm word or even a little attention offered with love. Notice how, when you give from the heart without expecting anything in return, a state of openness and ease appears. This simple practice cultivates a new type of energy, which over time is also reflected in your intimacy.

When love flows freely through you, the blockages of the heart begin to dissolve, and the body rediscovers the naturalness of pleasure.

  1. Natural aphrodisiacs

In recent years, natural aphrodisiacs have become increasingly known for their beneficial effects on vitality and erotic energy. They are not a substitute for the spiritual and bodily practices mentioned above, but they are an excellent support that can complement the process of healing and rediscovering pleasure.

Herbs with aphrodisiac properties act as tonics for the body and mind, support energy circulation and improve libido. In the Ayurvedic tradition, some of the most recommended are:

  • · Ashwagandha – increases vitality, reduces stress and improves hormonal balance;
  • · Shatavari – the plant of femininity, supports reproductive health and emotional balance;
  • · Tribulus terrestris – stimulates sexual energy and intensifies pleasure;
  • · Ginkgo biloba – improves blood circulation, including the genitals;
  • · Red ginseng – recognized for its revitalizing and stimulating effects.

Damiana, a shrub native to Central and South America, can be a valuable ally for females. Consumed regularly, in the form of an infusion or supplement, it supports the increase of libido, promotes orgasm, reduces vaginal dryness and helps overcome frigidity.

The integration of these aphrodisiac plants, whether in the form of infusions, tinctures or natural supplements, can bring extra support to the healing process.

  1. The Tantric Way

Anorgasmia is a much more prevalent problem than it seems, and it reflects a deep form of human suffering. Essentially, we are sensual and erotic beings, and when this side is repressed or ignored, imbalances, coldness and lack of fulfillment appear in the woman’s life and in her relationships.

Both tantric philosophy and Freud affirm the same thing: erotic pleasure is a natural right of every human being. It is essential for psychological balance and spiritual fulfillment. A woman needs, from the depths of her being, to live intimacy in joy, ecstasy and sacred communion with a lover.

Tantra offers a clear and deeply transformative path through methods that touch the being on all levels – physical, emotional, energetic, erotic and spiritual. Among them, tantric massage, Yoni massage, conscious eroticism are among the directions that can support a woman in the process of erotic awakening, healing and fulfillment.

This ancient tradition is a true treasure of wisdom, capable of alleviating many of the sufferings of the modern world, including – and especially – anorgasmia. With energy as the foundation of all its teachings, Tantra has a profound force, with transformative effects on the whole being: physical, energetic, mental, emotional, erotic and spiritual.

These practices are not limited to “fixing” the symptoms, but go directly to the cause – where the real root of the problem lies. They do not only offer an apparent healing or a return to “normal”, but open the way to an authentic rebirth: the woman becomes whole, alive, connected to her essence, spiritually flourishing and full of energy.

And then, you ask yourself: what drug could promise such transformations?

Perhaps it’s worth getting to the root of the problem, discovering who you really are and what you’re capable of experiencing when your energy flows freely.
